- Will the Ridglea Theater have weddings or private events?
Yes, the Ridglea Theater will be setup to accomodate Weddings, Corporate Events, and Private Functions. The new owner Jerry Shults is excited about hosting private events and will be creating an environment like no other in the area.
Rates and ammenities are still being determined, but come closer to Spring 2012, we should have all the info you seek!

- Is the Ridglea Theater being turned into a bank?
NO! Thanks to new owner Jerry Shults and the thousands of concerned citizens in Fort Worth and around the globe, the Ridglea Theater will NOT be turning into a bank! The Ridglea Theater will be a live concert venue featuring some of the nation & Texas region's top entertainers!
- Will the Ridglea Theater still host heavy metal concerts each week?
No, we will strive to be more diverse in our weekly music offerings. The new Ridglea Theater will showcase all forms of music genres from Jazz, Indie & Classic Rock, Americana & Alt-Country, Classic Country, Bluegrass & Folk, Hip-Hop & Rap, Texas Country & Red-Dirt, Chorale, EDM / Industrial, and Hard Rock.
- Who do I contact at the Ridglea Theater to book my band?

- When are yall having your grand re-opening?
We are currently in the middle of our restoration & renovation and will know more information here soon. While we were first eyeballing a September 2011 re-opening, with the intricate nature associated with the restoration, we have realized that September 2011 is not gonna happen. Stay tuned to our website for up to the minute information about our opening date in the Spring of 2012!
- Is Live Nation or AEG involved in booking the Ridglea Theater?
No, the Ridglea Theater is remaining an independently booked & promoted entity. We are open to outside promoters and talent buyers bringing the Ridglea Theater shows. If you are a promoter with a show package, send an email to Casey Mack at historicridglea@gmail.com to talk business.
- What will seating capacity be at the new Ridglea Theater?
The new Ridglea Theater will have a capacity of 1500. For Seated shows, we are looking at capacity of around 800.
- I saw a movie at the Ridglea Theater in the 70's. Will yall have movies at the Ridglea again?
Yes! We are planning to do movie events at the Ridglea Theater. If you have any movie suggestions, email us at historicridglea@gmail.com
- I have heard ticket prices for shows at the Ridglea are going to be $40 and up?
No! The Ridglea Theater will be striving to keep ticket prices low ( around $10-20 ) so more people can enjoy our entertainment offerings.
Now if Willie Nelson, Snoop Dog, or the Black Keys come play the Ridglea Theater, be expected to shell out a few extra $20 bills.
